It always slightly annoys me when people confuse complex and complicated.

E.g. complexity relates to audience. Airplane cockpits are complex to the layman, but not to their audience, the pilots.

Complicated relates to efficiency and ease of getting desired outcomes. E.g. a system that has fewer buttons may be less complex, but may still be complicated to use in regards to effort required to achieve desired outcomes.
