I already saw the effect on RAM prices. Last year, it cost $200 to double the RAM on my employer-supplied computer. This year, my colleagues are getting the exact same model of computer and it will cost $1000 to double the RAM. Unluckily for them, our manager won't approve the extra expenditure.
