The first U.S. mission to sample an asteroid, on September 24 we will witness the thrilling finale of OSIRIS-REx's mission as the sample is returned to Earth!
After 7 years, the mission of OSIRIS-REx - to return the sample it collected from the asteroid Bennu to Earth - will conclude in the Utah desert on September 24th, 2023 at 11am EDT.
