The newest Thomas Flight video is lovely, and really got me thinking about my life and ambitions. And maybe it helps me understand a subconscious reason I love slow cinema so much, since it tends to look at people who better embody this mindset.
The key takeaway is that while there's nothing wrong with ambition, it's important to occasionally step back and examine it, and to allow yourself time to just...be.
Haven’t posted much the past couple weeks as I mend from a chest cold. Mostly have been watching really dumb stuff, but this evening I enjoyed this analysis of the lasting influence of German Expressionism on film and thought I’d share here.
