Dabei strotzt die Story schon vor Klischees: Sommerferien – ein paar Teenager fahren in ein abgelegenes Haus am See. Darunter gibt Mike immer wieder ungefragt sein Filmwissen zu Horror-Plots preis. Ganz unerwartet erscheint ein schleimiges Frosch-Tentakel-Monster aus dem Tümpel, welches Strahlen aus den Augen verschießt. Hier darf nichts fehlen: Unmengen Kunstblut, Glibber und Rasierschaum. Spaßige Paar-Frivolitäten und Nacktbaden mit den typisch verteilten Rollen: Der Macher-Macho, die aufgetakelte Ballkönigin, der weltfremde Nerd, die unterkühlte Oberschlaue. Die Monster-Puppe ist wahrlich schlecht
