Hey book / library nerds (complimentary) of a certain age (in elementary school in the mid-80s). Did you also watch Tomes & Talismans series in school?

It's funny to me that the bad-guys were called #TheWipers. As a teen when I found out about the band of the same name, I assumed that's where they got it, but the band is older than the series. Is it possible that an educational video series creator used a name from a Portland punk band?
