Όταν κυκλοφόρησε το 1988 το Circle, o Greg Sage είχε πει ότι θα ήθελε να είναι αυτή η τελευταία σελίδα των Wipers, έτσι και έγινε, το 1989 έπαιξε σόλο στο σινέ Αγγέλικα δίπλα στο πατρικό μου, μαζί του ο ντράμερ Sam Henry, μια από τις χαρακτηριστικότερες φιγούρες της μουσικής σκηνής του Πόρτλαντ, στα περισσότερα τραγούδια των Wipers έπαιζε χωρίς την μπότα.
