Ah, otra entrada en el canon de “La gente vieja da miedo”. Aunque aquí, claro, la cosa deriva más del siempre clásico pozo de la perturbación mental. Haciendo un uso decente del gimmick de las grabaciones caseras (aunque más limpio y elegante de lo habitual) aunque sin ser redonda del todo, Shyamalan consigue un equilibrio bastante atinado entre momentos de comedia y el genuino mal rollo, y la película no tiene reparos en añadir algún toque perturbador y asquerosillo por aquí y por allá, con una tensa recta final.
