A platonic relationship you loved?
There's the one between Yai and Tharn in The Sign. Yai is like a brother to Tharn, he's always been there for him and is the one who knows about his visions and his trauma from losing his loved ones.
Then there's the the friendship of Yi Yong, Guang Yan, and Chu Ying in Oh, no! Here Comes Trouble. I loved the way it grows and how they end up caring so much about each other (I know this is from a 2023 show but I just watched it aaand I just loved it so I'm including it).
I could name so many friendships but it's late and I'm sleepy.

Phaya was infuriating… and also funny, smart, loyal, passionate.
The worst was that he kept appearing in Tharn’s visions. So, as much as Tharn wanted to keep his distance, he really couldn’t. And he wasn’t going to let Phaya get hurt.
Tharn was an expert now, after so many years of grief and fear, at convincing himself that his heart didn’t want someone by his side, that he could endure a life of solitude if that meant everyone he cared for would be safe…
And again, he was trying not to think about Phaya’s teasing smiles or Phaya’s warmth. He was trying so hard not to long for the way Phaya had held him and how his mind had gone pleasantly quiet for a moment.
But he couldn’t indulge in those thoughts and he had to remember that, no matter how hard it was.
Fuck, now almost the whole team is in trouble 😕
