I loved the movie #HiddenBlade ( #cdrama ) especially as it gave me a new perspective of the many factions in China as the Japanese were invading. Violent, but interesting twists and turns, and stars Wang Yibo.
Yibo is also in #WarOfFaith which talks about the stock market, financing, and the bank/business revolution towards communism
Less realistic but still smart and entertaining include
#TheVendettaOfAn - so twisty! Revenge!
#JoyOfLife - smart and funny
The elderly raiding party "attacking" the ship and getting treated gently by Fan and his crew is the funniest thing I have seen in ages.
If this isn't the subtlest, driest humour to ever exist, I don't want to know what it is.
Season 2 is not taking itself very seriously. Get accused of taking bribes and threatened with impeachment? Send a rebuttal that just says "wild dogs barking" in large characters. Because of course that is a valid explanation. 🤣

From the shows I've seen this past lunar year, I would say the #cdrama #LaterILaughed and who she ends up with.
From any show I've watched? I would say the first season of the cdrama #JoyOfLife had the most surprise ending, that somehow resolved in season 2!
