È in uno dei luoghi simbolici della Capitale che prende vita il video di presentazione del World Taekwondo Grand Prix Roma 2026: un dialogo tra la perfezione delle sculture e l'eleganza atletica di uno sport che unisce forza, disciplina e spettacolo. Il Grand Prix si svolgerà al Foro Italico dal 4 al 7 giugno, con apertura ufficiale il 3 giugno a Piazza di Spagna. È una delle tre tappe del Grand Prix Series 2026, circuito mondiale organizzato da World Taekwondo insieme alle sedi di Muju e Parigi, che assegna punti validi per il ranking olimpico nel percorso verso Los Angeles 2028. Alla quinta edizione romana sono iscritti 362 atleti in rappresentanza di 58 paesi: 248 nel Grand Prix Olimpico, 114 nel Grand Prix Paralimpico. L'ingresso sarà gratuito per tutta la durata della manifestazione. Il video promozionale dell'evento è stato girato tra le sale dei Musei Capitolini. Protagonisti quattro atleti italiani che incarnano le diverse anime del taekwondo: Vito Dell'Aquila, oro olimpico a Tokyo 2020 nei -58 kg, e Simone Alessio, bronzo olimpico a Parigi 2024 negli -80 kg, entrambi attesi in gara al Foro Italico. It is in one of the symbolic locations of the Capital that the video presentation for the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Rome 2026 comes to life: a dialogue between the perfection of the sculptures and the athletic elegance of a sport that unites strength, discipline, and spectacle. The Grand Prix will take place at the Foro Italico from June 4th to 7th, with an official opening on June 3rd at Piazza di Spagna. It is one of the three stages of the Grand Prix Series 2026, a world circuit organized by World Taekwondo together with the venues of Muju and Paris, which awards points valid for the Olympic ranking in the path towards Los Angeles 2028. The fifth edition in Rome is attended by 362 athletes representing 58 countries: 248 in the Olympic Grand Prix, 114 in the Paralympic Grand Prix. Admission will be free throughout the duration of the event. The promotional video for the event was filmed among the halls of the Capitoline Museums. Leonardo.it: Mani e braccia rotte dopo la gara: il Gran Premio è un disastro totale
Un weekend di gare che ha segnato un punto negativo nella stagione di MotoGP. Le aspettative erano alte per il Gran Premio del Brasile, ma il circuito di Goiania ha fatto tutto tranne che rispecchiarle. Non si è trattato solo di una gara difficile dal punto di vista tecnico, ma anche di un evento che ha lasciato i suoi segni sulla pelle dei piloti, alcuni dei quali hanno subito piccoli infortuni.
Durante il Gran Premio, infatti, il tracciato si è rivelato assolutamente inadeguato, con tratti che si sono rivelati insidiosi per i motociclisti. Pezzettini di asfalto, staccati dalla superficie, sono volati via e hanno colpito i piloti, mettendo a rischio la loro sicurezza. Tra i più colpiti, Joan Mir e Alex Rins. Il primo ha accusato dei problemi alle mani, mentre il secondo ha subito danni alle braccia.
Disastro in MotoGP, circuito in pessime condizioni
La situazione si è rivelata davvero disastrosa e la gara ha visto una serie di problematiche che hanno reso difficile concentrarsi sulla parte sportiva. Alex Rins e Joan Mir, piloti di punta per i team Honda e Yamaha, hanno dovuto fare i conti con la pericolosità del tracciato, che ha causato non solo danni fisici ma anche un significativo impegno psicologico per affrontare la gara in quelle condizioni.
Il Gran Premio si è, comunque, concluso con la doppietta Aprilia. Marco Bezzecchi ha vinto, mentre Jorge Martin si è classificato secondo. A chiudere il podio, un sorprendente Fabio Di Giannantonio, che con la sua Ducati ha conquistato il terzo posto, sotto l’ala del team di Valentino Rossi.
Asfalto che si sgretola, il futuro del GP del Brasile
Il circuito di Goiania ha mostrato tutte le sue lacune in un momento in cui la sicurezza dovrebbe essere la priorità assoluta. L’immagine del campionato esce danneggiata da questo episodio. La sensazione che i piloti siano stati messi in pericolo per la scarsa manutenzione del tracciato resta forte e la MotoGP dovrà riflettere su quanto accaduto, se non per migliorare la sicurezza, almeno per evitare che simili disastri possano ripetersi in futuro.

It wasn't just a difficult race from a technical point of view, but also an event that left its mark on the pilots’ skin, some of whom suffered minor injuries.
During the Grand Prix, the track proved completely inadequate, with sections that turned out to be treacherous for motorcyclists. Pieces of asphalt, detached from the surface, flew away and hit the riders, putting their safety at risk. Joan Mir and Alex Rins were among the most affected, with the former experiencing hand problems and the latter suffering arm damage.
Disaster in MotoGP, circuit in poor condition
The situation proved truly disastrous and the race saw a series of problems that made it difficult to concentrate on the sporting aspect. Alex Rins and Joan Mir, leading riders for the Honda and Yamaha teams, had to contend with the dangerous nature of the track, which caused not only physical damage but also a significant psychological effort to tackle the race in those conditions.
The Grand Prix was, however, concluded with an Aprilia double. Marco Bezzecchi won, while Jorge Martin finished second. Closing out the podium was a surprising Fabio Di Giannantonio, who with his Ducati secured third place under the wing of the Valentino Rossi team.
Cracking asphalt, the future of the GP of Brazil
The Goiânia circuit showed all its shortcomings at a time when safety should be the absolute priority. The image of the championship is damaged by this incident. The feeling that the riders were put in danger due to the poor maintenance of the track remains strong and MotoGP will need to reflect on what happened, if not to improve safety, at least to prevent similar disasters from repeating in the future.

Kimi Antonelli ha infatti in questo caso battuto il record detenuto da Sebastian Vettel che resisteva dal 2008 ed è stato il primo italiano a prendersi la pole dopo 17 anni: l'ultimo pilota azzurro a farlo è stato Giancarlo Fisichella in occasione del GP del Belgio del 2009.
Nella gara in Cina, ha resistito al compagno di scuderia George Russel e alle due Ferrari cogliendo cosi il primo successo della sua carriera e diventando il primo italiano a vincere proprio dopo Fisichella che trionfò nel Gran Premio della Malesia nel lontano 2006. Non solo pilota ma anche attore: è apparso infatti, in un cameo, nel film "Veloce come il vento" di Matteo Rovere.
