Lots of reporting on the radio about the BBC losing the libel case brought by Gerry Adams.
I must admit every time I hear it, it brings to mind the Day Today's practice (mocking the Thatcher government requiring actors to voice the words of Sinn Fein and IRA activists).

Today is likely to be a more relaxed sort of day, pottering around the house and the estate grounds (!) doing random odd jobs.
The only definite point is virtually attending our daughter's ward round later this morning - assuming I can get bloody Teams to work properly this week.
Sacha is suffering as lot with her back and leg pain - let's hope that these physio sessions are short term pain for a lot more gain.
Carpe Diem folks!!
We had a fair bit of rain here overnight - maybe not enough to do much good on the allotment, but every little helps.
Up bright and early to get organised for the taxi to take us to the station.
The bags are by the front door.
Kasa will be staying here to look after Kit the new Cat, so we've changed the bed sheets for her, and put the cat food where she can find it.
I've activated our Interrail passes - so no turning back now.
It's train to St Pancras, the tube to get lunch at my club in Westminster, then from Waterloo to Portsmouth for tonight's ferry to St Malo overnight.
It looks like being a hot day and thunderstorms are threatened.
I hope your Monday goes smoothly and without drama.

Good morning Mastodon!
I hope you've got a great day ahead.
It's bright & sunny here in the English East Midlands - although a little cool.
We've got a few low key things planned for Friday -
The EV Charger fitters are returning late this afternoon - hopefully with the correct parts.
Then I've got to refill the storage area (where the fuses are) with the carp that's cluttering up the living room.
I've got a delivery (mildly exciting) coming this afternoon sometime.
Sacha is on-call for her volunteer job - not that she can get out of the drive - some wonker has parked right across our drive. I suspect the builders down the road, but it could be a parent at the school (based on long observation drivers lose their brane cells when near the school).
Sacha also needs to lower my stress levels by getting her clothes sorted out for our holiday.
Groundbreaking satire The Day Today is 30 years old today!
Thank you Mr. Iannuci, Mr. Morris and the whole cast and crew! Now fact me until I fart!
