18 years ago I bought a black Intel MacBook (the only MacBook I bought for myself so far). It accompanied me through my years of studies of humanities. It seems it and its set of applications (especially #OmniOutliner, #TeXShop, #Zotero) became some kind of intellectual home to me.

This week I decided I could comfort myself with that feeling of a digital home again and bought a MacBook again. Of course it’s a second-hand one, refurbished by the good people at https://afbshop.de

The last release is just a month old, and we are already busy with bug fixes and implementing new features.
Our brand-new feature in the development version is now the integration with #TexShop on #macOS. Directly push your #citations to your favorite editor.
And with the custom pattern configuration, you can adjust the cite command for #TexLatex or #markdown (e.g. #pandoc )

TeXShop 5.12 has dropped via Sparkle. Read the release notes as there are changes to the PreTeXt engine. There's also a new 180 page manual for TeXShop available from the Help menu.
