I’m late to the party, but #Taken2 almost had an amazing idea and was close to brilliance.

Neeson’s character and his wife get #Taken and after giving the bad guys the slip, his daughter must help him.

This is almost brilliant. No offence to Famka Janssen but we didn’t need Lenore on the trip.

It should have been a father, daughter trip when Bryan gets taken and his daughter must save him.

Instead she basically just brings him a gun and then rocks the wheel when they make their getaway.

So Kim gets to be a bad ass, but it’s mostly as Bryan’s sidekick.

It would have been better if he was just a hostage and she saved him by discovering on the fly that she’s a total rock star.

Then in Taken 3 (which I haven’t seen yet), they can do their Batman and Robin routine.
