Vista la nueva versión de #DraculaALoveTale del 2025 y dirigida por #LucBesson (que personalmente no me cae bien). Se inspira muchísimo visualmente sin disimulo en la adaptación de Coppola pero para mi gusto me ha gustado bastante más: la interpretación de los actores (Drácula, Mina y su amiga María) es espectacular y, a pesar de que la historia ya la conocemos, hace mucho más énfasis en la relación entre Vlad y Elisabeta aumentando la carga emotiva.

Un amor que trasciende la muerte y el tiempo y un villano que no quería serlo.

Euh... #TeleLoisirs, quand on annonce un navet de #LucBesson, qui porte le même titre qu'un superbe film italien, on évite de confondre les bandes annonces.
Car 1/ j'ai cru que j'avais aimé un film de #LucBesson, 2/ CE N'EST PAS LA BONNE BANDE ANNONCE, BORDAYL ! 3/ Le #MatteoGarrone me tentait bien ce soir, pas un Besson, faut pas déconner, j'aime le cinéma, moi.

„L’Immortel“ – „Der Unsterbliche“ – so lautet der französische Originaltitel dieser großen Mafia-Oper mit Jean Reno. Und es gab wirklich keinen Grund, diesen wunderbaren Titel so schlecht zu übersetzen. Ich habe den Film erst 2024 zum ersten Mal gesehen. Und danach musste ich mich doch erst einmal sammeln. Denn er überwältigt. Er ist so traditionell, wie modern. Schnelles, brutales und doch sehr moralisches Action-Kino aus Frankreich. (3Sat, Wh.)

And who could be a better film-maker to casually enjoy, but Luc Besson, who after all these reviews I did of his films, I start to feel like I understand, similarly to how a therapist might understand his client? His 2025 low budget film June and John is undeniably Luc Besson, even if the fact that the film was largely shot on a smartphone makes it look kind of weird and slightly amateurish.
