Would be great if using #discord for #opensource projects would be considered a violation of open source principles (never gonna happen I know).

Some offenders:

- #godot
- #mudblazor
- #nanoframework
- #appflowy
- #libretro
- #ffmpeg_wasm
- #synocommunity
- #linuxserverio
- #heroicgamelauncher
- etc...

And yes some of these do offer alternatives but they are mostly abandoned.

And I get you might be happy with #discord (and that's fine too), but I'm not.

using the, nearly a year old, #HomeAssistant natively installable on #Synology is getting more and more painful

And I wouldn't blame #SynoCommunity, more the broken mindset of "we don't need a decent way to build our dependency hell - we'll ship full OS/docker images!"

I really don't want to switch to the docker version, but it looks like I have no better way forward.

(and btw: plugin developers no longer supporting versions from the previous month? are you stupid?)

I obviously prefer official packages, but #synocommunity came in clutch today with the syncthing package after I updated to DSM 7. Dodged a bullet, there.
C'est moi ou y'a de moins en moins de paquets à jour dans #SynoCommunity ?
