If you can afford to support your instance admin(s), please consider doing so. They often pay a good bit of money out of their own pockets to keep the instance running and all that goes along with it.

It's not cheap to run an instance. I know from past experience and it's nice when you have even just a few dollars coming in to help cover the costs.

With that said, it's really important to remember that this place cannot exist without your support. If you can, please chip in a few dollars to CubHub's Patreon. This instance (like most instances) relies heavily on donations to cover its operating costs. Running a social web service like Cubhub costs a lot of money - as more people join, the costs of things like hosting and DDOS protection get more expensive, and during a surge of new joins (as we see somewhat often when Xitter hiccups), those costs can also surge unexpectedly.
