John Tillotson, Anglican Archbishop, writes on Lazarus (Luke 16), who starved and longed for crumbs from rich manβs table. A few mere CRUMBS would have hardly cost him anything, yet been a great kindness to Lazarus. The parable intimates the hard-heartedness of the rich man. Who ends up in hell.
Today, is modern conservatism all about hardening hearts against the needy?
How can you consider your crumbs, and the suffering around you?

~ Yielding to our heavenly Father's will isn't always easy, especially when suffering is involved. Our lord #JesusChrist set the perfect example for us: Submitting to God's will, dying a criminal's death on a shameful cross for ALL humankind to be saved thru him. We may not understand God's will For Us at times but like #Jesus seek the Father's will, trust & obey Him. God's perfect will ALWAYS works toward eternal Good.
