I was aware of the major problems with subminimum wage and tipping, which leads me to tip when possible, particularly when I know the role is subminimum wage.

On Tuesday 2/4 the #NH house Labor Committee is hearing house bills about increasing #MinimumWage, increasing #unemployment benefit maximums, increasing workers comp payments from 60% to 66%, prohibiting #SubMinimumWage for servers and disabled people, and require employers pay out unused #PTO. This is amazing stuff.

There are also a bunch of restrictions the Republicans are trying to put on absentee ballots, and there’s some scary stuff in the family law committee like they want to publicly broadcast hearings and if a child rejects a parent they can require psychoanalysis and therapy for the family. I don’t have kids but that all makes me uncomfortable.

Anyway the link below is to the list of the employment stuff. I’m really excited about that I have a whole list of things I have to go oppose or support before the weekend is over.
