A ★★★½ review of It Chapter Two (2019)

Funny how both 1990 miniseries and the 2010 theatrical adaptations both absolutely nail the first half with the Losers as kids, but fail to keep that momentum for the latter half with the adult Losers. I suppose the other big irony is having Stephen King cameo as a shopkeeper telling Bill that he can't write good endings in a film hampered by a lackluster ending. That said, an incredible cast still helps keep it together, and it blows the second half of 90 miniseries out of the water (with the exception of Currys Penny wise, perhaps the only redeeming factor
