Il Tempo: Comunicato Stampa: Consiglio Veneto approva all'unanimità Progetto di legge che tutela l'ecosistema del lago di Garda
Il Consiglio regionale del Veneto ha approvato oggi all'unanimità il Progetto di legge n. 14, “Modifiche alla L.R. n. 52/1989 ‘Disciplina del demanio lacuale e della navigazione sul Lago di Garda'”, che era incardinato nella Seconda commissione consiliare, e che è stato illustrato in Aula dal primo firmatario, il Capogruppo di Stefani Presidente, Matteo Pressi, e dal Correlatore, la consigliera regionale Anna Maria Bigon (Pd).
Il Correlatore Bigon ha osservato come servano “politiche integrate di prevenzione dell'inquinamento, in particolare delle acque, che può avere effetti diretti e indiretti sulla salute umana, animale e ambientale. La proposta normativa coglie l'esigenza reale di protezione ambientale, ma va integrata coinvolgendo le diverse parti e gli enti interessati. Abbiamo presentato un ordine del giorno per portare in Seconda commissione consiliare l'aggiornamento periodico degli impatti che questa legge avrà.”
Il Capogruppo di Forza Italia, Alberto Bozza, ha ricordato che “il Progetto di legge era stato portato avanti nella scorsa legislatura dal collega Enrico Corsi, e oggi trova compimento per salvaguardare le acque del Lago di Garda, la biodiversità e l'ecosistema ittico. È frutto di un accordo tra il Veneto, la Lombardia e la Provincia Autonoma di Trento, enti che insistono sul Lago di Garda, lo specchio acqueo più grande d'Italia. Si tratta quindi di un investimento importante, non solo per l'ambiente, ma anche per il sistema produttivo.”

Press Release: Veneto Regional Council unanimously approves bill to protect the Lake Garda ecosystem.
The Veneto Regional Council unanimously approved Bill n. 14 today, “Amendments to Law No. 52/1989 ‘Regulation of Aquatic Domanes and Navigation on Lake Garda’”, which was referred to the Second Council Committee, and which was presented in the Chamber by the main sponsor, Matteo Pressi, Group Leader of Stefani President, and the Rapporteur, regional councilor Anna Maria Bigon (Pd).
Rapporteur Bigon observed that “integrated policies of pollution prevention, particularly of waters, are needed, which can have direct and indirect effects on human, animal and environmental health. The regulatory proposal captures the real need for environmental protection, but it must be integrated by involving the various parties and interested bodies. We presented a motion to refer the periodic updates of the impacts that this law will have to the Second Council Committee.”
Group Leader of Forza Italia, Alberto Bozza, recalled that “the Bill was carried forward in the previous legislature by colleague Enrico Corsi, and today finds completion to safeguard the waters of Lake Garda, biodiversity, and the fish ecosystem. It is the result of an agreement between Veneto, Lombardy, and the Autonomous Province of Trento, entities that insist on Lake Garda, the largest inland body of water in Italy. It is therefore an important investment, not only for the environment, but also for the productive system.”
