w00t! The great Render → #StaticHost migration has begun.

In the near future, I expect the vast majority of the @bridgetown sites I run will be hosted there. Nothing against Render, their service has been consistently awesome, but they don't support @Codeberg / Forgejo. And at this point, that's a deal-breaker for me

Hybrid deploys (static + dynamic API) aren't possible with StaticHost.eu, so I may just end up #SelfHosting on a VPS or something. Will cross that bridge later! 😄

I just migrated multiple #GitHub repositories to @Codeberg without ANY problems!

Then I deployed plain websites and @astro to #StaticHost without any problems as well. Incredible!

Now I need to connect a few URLs to https://www.statichost.eu/ and I'm done with migration.

Hey anybody used https://statichost.eu before? Apparently it's an EU static site provider that offers many things Netlify offers like automatic deploys and continuous integration. They apparently offer a global CDN too. Looks promising especially since they claim a focus on privacy. Just hoping maybe a fellow nerd tried them out before :)
