Book 23 continues the theme with a re-read of "The Starless Sea" by Erin Morgenstern.

Actually my favourite book in the world.

Edit: Finished 6th May.

Pretty happy that I've started a 4-week #roadtrip, which will allow me time to read several physical books, as well as the much more dominant #audiobook. Currently reading #StarlessSea by Erin Morgenstern. It's deliciously written.

The very subtle nod to Night Circus in The Starless Sea is just amazing! OMG I loved this book and now I’m so confused. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

This book is like a contemporary fairytale and a fever dream all wrapped up in poetic prose.

I can’t believe this might end up being the second book I pick up to re-read right after I finish it. Erin Morgenstern can write absolutely anything next and I’ll sell my soul to read it.

Back in 2021, I read #GideonTheNinth, #Piranesi, and #StarlessSea, all of which have dungeon-crawl sections. I think there are some cool lessons we can take from them for #DnD and other #ttrpg.

They all do something different, and translate into gaming in different ways.
