The workshop was jointly organized by the International Speech Communication Association Special Interest Group on “The History of Speech Communication Sciences”, the Institute of Contemporary History (NOVA University of Lisbon; University of Évora), the University of Porto (Rectory; Linguistics Centre), Ferraz de Lacerda, Lda., and supported by the International Phonetic Association.
