Auf nach Bremen zur #SpaceTechExpo. Heute ein Panel zum EU Space Act, morgen dann der Commercial Space Law Workshop, bei dem ich auf die Diskussionen zu Weltraumverkehrskoordinierung und -koordination bei den diesjährigen #COPUOS-Sitzungen zurückblicke.
Erstmal aber Zeitung lesen, die neue Ausgabe #SuW liegt ja schon zu Hause.

On Monday I’ll be participating in the Aviation Week Network Roundtable on the “Golden Dome for America and Implications for the Space Industry”.

On Tuesday I’ll be on the #SpaceTechExpo stage talking about the changes we can expect to the aerospace industry under the new administration and how space companies can adapt to thrive in this “new” ecosystem.

Recap of my #spacetechexpo visit.
Was it worth it? As the event covers a totally different branch of #remotesensing it wasn't beneficial for me. But I knew it before. At least I joined some interesting presentations, and it was a fun day and different to usual business. For people working in the technical/constructive remote sensing field, I think it's a great meeting.

Using stratospheric balloons for #remotesensing shall boost certain applications and might be a next big thing. At least according to Rocco Corsini from Involve Space. Less costs, less environmental pollution, higher spatial resolution, almost constant observation of an area.

That's how satellite trackers changed from 1970 to today. Shown by Gregor Langer from TALOS GmbH and what they can be used for. Tracking animals can tell us something, e.g., tracking migratory birds, providing insights into the effects of climate change.
