I wanted to provide an update on the Norman Luboff Choir videos I’ve been sharing on Finnley’s Audio Adventures. Unfortunately, due to actions taken by Sony Music Entertainment (SME), several of these cherished videos have been blocked worldwide.

Initially, these videos were flagged for copyright, but the content was allowed to be published by the copyright holder. However, SME (Sony Music) has since changed the status of each video, leading to them being blocked. This is especially disheartening given that searching YouTube for these specific albums from the Norman Luboff Choir yields few results, with only a couple of tracks from “Songs of the Sea” available.

It’s truly unfortunate that such a significant piece of musical history is being kept from modern audiences. The Norman Luboff Choir’s legacy deserves to be accessible and enjoyed by all. Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. Let’s hope that someday, these timeless melodies will be free to resonate with listeners once more.
