There is a public meeting TONIGHT (Thurs, 19 March) @ 6 PM to discuss planned improvements along Alford St. and Broadway to extend the SL3 bus. The project description includes mention of separate bike infrastructure and improved multi-modal access to the Northern Strand.

I can appreciate that there’s probably no malice or bad intent here, but I honestly don’t know how I feel about the Somerville Police Department blanketing the Internet with announcements about increased police presence due to a “street takeover“ that’s supposed to be happening outside the door to my house.
I can’t find any mention of it anywhere outside of the police announcement itself so I’m wondering who is taking over and where their coordinating.
