I missed that moment in the early morning when the sun floods everything with the rose light of a new day. So just some later sun on frosted branches, shot with a Soligor 200mm from back in the day… not tad sharp, but it’s got the right vibe…

Jan B.In der #Mittagspause mal eben ein bisschen die Neuerwerbungen vom gestrigen #Flohmarkt austesten: Das #Soligor schlägt sich auch auf meiner #Nikon #D800 ganz gut. Natürlich kann man bei einem 40+ Jahre alten Budget-Objektiv auch keine Schärfewunder erwarten, aber etwas abgeblendet oder im Macrobereich ist es ganz OK.
Auf dem #Flohmarkt ein #Objektiv mitgenommen, ein #Soligor C/D Zoom-Auto F2.5/3.5 f=35-70mm. Nicht davon irritieren lassen, dass es auf meiner #Canon steckt, es hat eigentlich einen #Nikon AI Anschluss. Auf der Crop-Kamera macht es ganz nette Bilder, mal sehen was meine FX Nikon zu Hause dazu sagt.

Coincidentally, taking these shots made me realize that maybe having red accentuation selected for the focus peaking isn't the smartest of choices of mine when there's so much natural fringing in red going on in the scene I'm shooting heh.

And here it is advertised in the late 60s. Looks sketchy, but these were fine lenses made by Kenko. They also were sold under Kenko and Soligor branding, probably more.
In the same issue, the staff reviewed a few of the new Soligor / AIC products, including the dual focal lenses. Overall, the 85mm seemed to have been most appreciated. Same finding on my end, the 85mm is the sharpest / easiest to focus. Available for many camera mounts including Fujica, except the 1.5x adapter which was more limited. Fit and finish was also praised, not surprising as the C/D line was their top tier
