Is anyone aware of any software that lets me dictate into any text field on Linux, like the built in Windows dictation support?

I have tried *so* hard to find something that will work outside of whatever text field or document it's built into, and I can’t find it for the life of me. Please help!

I'm trying to keep track of info on journalists (with the purpose to contact them wrt. activism), and the calc-sheets are getting a bit messy. What's a very user friendly database tool that could be used to filter based on eg. location and print a csv list of emails or phone numbers? I basically just need the functionality of the sheet, but to hide it away a little so that you don't accidentally shift a whole column when trying to copy something or similar.#SoftwareRecs #database #opensource
