Is anyone here familiar with using PECS sheets or other point-at-what-I-want tools for seniors that are losing their verbal ability?
I'm making a poster for my Grandma's bedside with options for her to point at, in order to communicate her needs better to family and attendants.

upholding the dignity of those living inside broken bodies…
It can feel really tough to see people born with disabilities, but is that actually fair to think? Maybe our perspectives need a little shifting. Take a moment test your own point of view...https://thedignityofman.net/2026/02/23/upholding-the-dignity-of-those-living-inside-broken-bodies/
The technology described in this segment is so fabulous!
And I love that the composer and librettist are giving nonspeakers a voice!

I so love this! It reminds me that my most common way of communicating in scenes are body motion and non-verbal auditory expressions. No one playing with or observing me misunderstands how I’m feeling.
My most difficult challenge with scenes is starting them in the first place. So many sensory and social cue barriers! In private sex parties, I’m way more comfy going straight to the play rooms and let the touch cues do their magic.
