Because a sober and fact-focussed news outlet like #DWnews really shouldn't depend solely on big platforms that have perverse incentives [i.e. #DoomScrolling, #RageBait & #ClickBait], but have a less frail and fragile connection to it's users.
Quick click bait, and following trends will only get you so far. Create a portfolio that will continue to be relevant past the moment and retain your audience.
