Maybe a departmental culture in which #CentreLinkComplianceOfficers respond to a CentreLink social worker's concerns about benefit recipients with " #SoSadTooBad " and in which #RoboDebt victims are told " #CentreLinkDoesNotMakeMistakes " is something that the government needs to apologise directly to the public about?

And tell us what they're doing to stop this abuse of #VulnerableAustralians by public servants happening?

That fits with my experience of the garbage website and the helpful people fronting the desks.

Though evidence at the #RobodebtRC has, apparently CentreLink Compliance Officers replying repeatedly to numerous concerns raised by a Centrelink social worker;
"So sad. Too bad."

Such folk might be better suited to cleaning up refuse from rail reserves. Yet I fear they'll remain in their jobs.
