For this weekend's photos I am going to continue to celebrate the Snowdrop. A sure sign that spring is not far away.

For this weekend's photos it just had to be the snowdrop. Such a delicate looking but hardy flower. The first sign that nature is waking up from its winter slumber and spring is just around the corner now

Snowdrop season is fully underway. I do like the snowdrop. It reminds me that winter is coming to an end and nature is waking up from its winter slumber.

Snowdrops
The snowdrops in my garden are almost all gone now, so I wanted to paint them before they disappear for the year.
I’m not sure if this abstract snowdrops painting is finished or not. I have an idea of what I could add but I’m not sure if that will wreck what I’ve created so far, so I’m leaving it be for now.

The humble snowdrop. How such a delicate flower can stand tall against everything that winter can throw at it, standing tall, reminding everyone that spring is on its way. My favourite flower.

Just had my family weekend get together for my dad’s 80th birthday cancelled when one of my kids tested positive for Covid. I’m totally devastated, my siblings are spread far and wide and it’s very rare for us to all get together with my parents.
Ran out my frustration and disappointment for 7km and was slightly cheered up by all the snowdrops that are out.
