Snow immersion is a real threat, even on easy terrain. So ski carefully on deep powder days, but also watch the people around you.

The view from my house today features a bunch of people earning their turns by trekking up the slope so they can ski down it.
I'm tempted to join them, but ultimately lazy enough to wait a bit longer for lift service.
Looks like the only western Washington ski area operating today is #CrystalMountain, who aren't running shuttles and only sold 400 parking spots. So if you're there, congrats, you lucky person!
A few places hope to open tomorrow and my area thinks Monday or Tuesday.
First day skiing on my home mountain this season! They're running the lift I can see from my house on Fridays this year and I'm super happy about it! The snow was great and the crowd not nearly as bad as it will likely be tomorrow. :)
Had a lot of fun on my first visit to Mission Ridge. Conditions were great and the views were amazing after the fog dispersed. Also, I spotted Sasquatch! He looked cold.
I spent over an hour clearing my driveway of snow this morning, but last night's dump was a little too late for the Summit ski area to open this weekend. We're good to go Tuesday, though! (Passholders only. General Public on Wednesday.)
The Washington ski season will officially begin when Baker opens THIS THURSDAY! Huzzah!
While my area isn't ready to spin the lifts yet, that's quickly approaching. We're expecting a lot of snow this week and I shouldn't have to see grass near my house until spring.
