A 22-year-old, Gianluca Ibarra Silvera, died in the early hours of the morning at the Fatebenefratelli hospital where he had been urgently admitted after being seriously injured. According to initial reconstructions, at least ten people of South American origin were involved in the fight, who fled on a train upon arrival of the police, disappearing without a trace. Police are investigating to clarify the dynamics of the attack and identify the perpetrators.
The young man was born in Italy from a family originally from Ecuador: he died in hospital around 2:00 a.m. due to cardiac arrest following a serious stab wound. The brawl broke out at the station shortly after 10:00 p.m. on via Mambretti in the Lombard capital, and the Silvera’s condition appeared immediately serious. Before arriving at the hospital, the 22-year-old needed resuscitation and initial stabilization. The incident occurred near track 6, according to reports from the 118 rescuers, who arrived with two ambulances and an emergency medical vehicle. Together with the boy were his brothers when he was surrounded by the group: one of them was taken to the Sacco Hospital in code green, with minor abrasions to his hand and right leg.
