Il 23enne, un ragazzo italiano cameriere in uno dei tanti locali che affollano la zona, intorno all’una della notte è stato vittima di aggressione da parte di due uomini. Questi stavano infastidendo una collega del 23enne, che era uscita con lui dopo aver terminato il proprio turno: dopo le molestie i due hanno approcciato il ragazzo, chiedendogli del denaro.
Al suo rifiuto è scoppiata la violenza: uno dei due aggressori avrebbe estratto un coltello sferrando un fendente che ha raggiunto il giovane al torace, all’altezza del cuore. Il 23enne è caduto a terra perdendo conoscenza, mentre la collega e altri presenti hanno allertato i soccorsi del 119.
Il ragazzo, andato in arresto cardiaco e rianimato direttamente in piazza, è stato poi trasferito all’ospedale Santo Stefano. Qui è stato sottoposto ad un delicato intervento chirurgico cardiaco: ora si trova ricoverato reparto di rianimazione, la prognosi è riservata e le sue condizioni restano molto serie.
Lì dove era avvenuta l’aggressione è intervenuta quindi la polizia, che ha avviato immediate ricerche dei due responsabili dell’aggressione raccogliendo le prime testimonianze sul posto e le immagini della videosorveglianza della zona.
I risultati sono arrivati in poche ore. Già nella notte la polizia ha rintracciato e fermato due persone ritenute coinvolte nell’aggressione: si tratta di un 16enne italiano e di un uomo di origine sudamericana, per entrambi si attende la decisione del magistrato dopo l’interrogatorio in Questura. I due in particolare sarebbero stati riconosciuti da diversi testimoni.
