Pierre PalatinOn saturday, I wanted to run a bit further than usual - the idea was to go down to Sihlwald (the local wilderness park) and come back by train instead of doing a loop.
Start was a bit difficult - things were ok-ish, but not feeling good enough to go for super long (well, by my standards :).
Nevertheless, I still managed to go all the way, and come back several half-way - before taking the train back in Adliswil. And thus, I managed to beat my distance record with a not-too-shabby 23 km :)
I even had a conversation with some people going by bike in the other direction to talk about the condition of the trail (there was a minor land slide). Such social.
Though in Sihlwald, I did not manage to see any of the otters so it was a bit disappointing :p

The first two pictures are from the river #Sihl, at height of #Adliswil.
Third picture is the construction site of the overflow tunnel towards Zürisee to mitigate future Sihl floodings.
Forth picture is the #railway #bridge over the Sihl at #Sihlbrugg Station between the #Zimmerbergtunnel and #Albistunnel. It's the line coming from Thalwil towards Baar and Zug.
Meh, I accidentally set that posting to "not listed". Or rather @apps does that by default and doesn't warn you (as the Mastodon web UI does) that your tags will be useless in that case. 🤌 And Mastodon doesn't allow to change the visibility via an edit. 🤬
