I build a shortcut for capturing short bursts of audio, inspired by the new #Pebble Index 01 smart ring. My goal was to log audio easily, from anywhere, and move it to a kind of searchable inbox for triage, etc.
Turns out Shortcuts and Notes are all you need!

Congress App for iOS & macOSUsing the share menu you can add individual events to your phones calendar in #CongressApp #39c3. Currently this is a one way street. If you want more elaborate options take a look at the #Shortcuts app integration.

Derek MartinIt’s nearly 2026 and you cannot create a shortcut to turn your kids’ “downtime” on and off with a single button press. For each kid, I have to go to settings, go to my account, go to their profile, type in a passcode, go to the next screen, then turn downtime on or off. You also cannot control the eero app using Shortcuts, to say turn your kids’ Internet on or off. What a pain in the butt. #apple #shortcuts
