Morning y’all, I have a shortcut that I use regularly at work, and it has saved me so much time however, it appears the latest iPadOS update possibly broke file renaming. The script runs fine until it reaches the renaming portion which used to work perfectly but now claims that “The file does not exist” and ends the script, I can confirm the files are being saved in the directories as intended just failing on the renaming. https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/9ecef7e31dc14a3fa9590da6edaef061 [https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/9ecef7e31dc14a3fa9590da6edaef061] By chance does anyone know a workaround that I could use temporarily? It's a truly massive update, and I'm quite proud of how solid it turned out. I'd be happy if you took it out for a spin and/or tell everyone about it! Spread the word, I beg of you… 😅 Because, you know, #indieDev and #buildInPublic and all that 😉 Building is easy, marketing is ultra hard.

I’m probably not the first person to do this, but I made an ios Shortcut to strip queries from a URL in the clipboard and copy it back to the clipboard. I was doing this manually for god knows how long LIKE A FOOL. 😂 The shortcut also leaves any fragments intact. Feedback welcome!

Present me was pretty happy with past me for having the idea to make an iOS shortcut to figure out whether there is enough filament left on a spool to print a part. That is, when you’re down to the last layer of wraps on a spool.

1. Enter the grams of filament needed for the print.

2. Enter the diameter of the hub of your spool in mm.

3. It will tell you approximately how many wraps are needed for the print so that you can count how many there are and avoid running out if there aren’t enough.

I would have come up 3 wraps short on a print this morning if I didn’t have this tool.

My biggest wish for future versions of #Shortcuts right now is to be able to share/collab between Apple Accounts. I have two accounts (work/personal) and it sucks sending edits back and forth.
