• #Monero being the "least worst" because they are at least consistent and principled at preventing #NFTs and #SmartContracts to be possible becaise they actually want their cryptocurrency to be a means to pay, not a #Shitcoin.

#Solana and Ethereum showed everyone that #ProofOfStake means diddly piss when it comes to resource utilization.

• Also nowadays the #CryptoBros have leveled up & tripled-down as they don't go for individuals anymore, but banks and institutional investors.

@JuxGD those are some good questions re: #Monero.

1. Obviously #XMR doesn't fluctuate extremely hard (it does have some peaks, but for the most part, it's pretty stable)

2. #Monero is in fact less harmful than all the other #Shitcoins by virtue of being anti-ASIC and running best on consumer devices.

3. All #capitalism is #unethical, but Monero being the closest to #DigitalCash makes it better than any #Shitcoin and allows #Sexworkers and others #discriminated and #debanked to recieve money.

The only use-case I've seen for #TonCoin is a paywalled circumvention of #PhoneNumber requirements, and I'd rather recommend people to "obtain" an anonymous (e)SIM and cheap throwaway phone for cash to circumvent that than jumping through hoops to obtain some shitcoin one can't even exchange...

• Call me weird, but I'll stick with #XMPP+#OMEMO & #PGP/MIME over @torproject / #Tor instead of a shitty, #proprietary, #SingleVendor & #singleProvider "platform" that only succeeds in being a hot mess full of #CSAM, Rapists Fraudsters, Scammers, Cryptobros, Russian Skiddies and other shite more filthy than #dread...
