What were the stories this old shed atop the ridge contained ?
OliverAfter passing Lillehammer (remember the Winter Games 1994?) we encountered this site near Fåvang scaffolded in fog in the early morning. Still not knowing what "Rom" (city of Rome?) has to do with this, we didn't think further about the potential meaning of the painted letters. Great scenery anyway!
Later we discovered that it meant "Room" or "Room for rent" - but in this morning back in 2023, it was somehow some kind of riddle...

Lone Cabin is a stone hut on kunanyi-Mt Wellington in Tasmania. In the years prior to the mid-20th century, a man lived here, however the hut was badly damaged by the bushfires of 1967. It was rebuilt by members of the Hobart Waking Club and today's serves as shelter and as a reminder of the mountain's history of hut building.
Lone Cabin is reached by the side track from the East-West Track close to Junction Cabin.
