Here is my newest MOC (short for my own creation).
The USS Ilia named after the deltan officer in Star Trek TMP.
A chubby knockoff Voyager from Star Trek Voyager if it had an unholy relationship with the Enterprise E producing offspring... Yes, I know that is not how starships are made.

The nacelles can be positioned in several different ankles. I took apart a ship I had build prior to this one which I simply didn't like as much.

In contrast to my prior builds this one is made mostly from bought parts and fewer things I had in my Lego box since childhood.
It contains Lego, Bluebrixx and almost all the stuffed plates from the Aldi market I linked in the toot above.
The more monochrome design makes the build a bit quieter but also more repetitive looking which I tried to brake up by using some colors and flat tiles to change the look.
The build took around 24 hours total.

Attached: 3 images I am a big Star Trek fan & I recently bought the Blue Brixx Enterprise E to finally have a big ship in my collection. However so to the amount of work that falls onto the poos delivery drivers at this time of the year (I am honestly feel bad that in ordered something but the alternative would have been a 30 dollar ticket, a day trip and a shot into the blue to visit the next shop) she hasn't arrived yet. Earlier 2024 I ordered some bricks online on eBay to resurrect a Starship I build ~25 years ago, I also dusted of the remaining Lego bricks from my & my brother's childhood. Because I couldn't wait to finally build a Starship again started a scratch build. Painting!

This is a mix of Tamiya Titanium silver + red + blue + clear, shot through my Harder & Steenbeck infinity brush

The lighting/camera doesn't really do the color justice. There's a lot more purple in-person and the multiple layers gives a subtle chromatic shift under changing light.

A good model deserves a good base. The mirrors are from Ikea. I still haven't chosen between the copper-toned mirrors or the gunmetal-toned ones. I'll probably put off that decision until the last minute.
