So, a player was running the game for the past several weeks. He opted for #DrawSteel and ran an old #DnD 3.5 adventure #KingdomsOfKalamar and set it in #greyhawk
The system was... Ok. By that, I didn't hate it. It was a lot of very dense abilities and a lot to track but once we learned our characters it went pretty quick. We had fun and enjoyed the adventure.
It's not something I'll run out and buy but I would definitely play in it again.
Session 0 for #SavageRifts #PhaseWorld next week!
Last roll of the negotiation in #DrawSteel. All so far failed, if this one fails too we go home with nothing.
roll. catastrophic failure, literally almost as bad as it can be.
fuck it, we need this negotiation. the team spends a hero point (a very limited resource) to reroll.
roll. fail again.
but we really need this negotiation. the team spends the *last* hero point.
critical success.
#TTRPGs really are just gambling without the addiction and the bankruptcy.
Finished a six year campaign of "Descent into Avernus". How did it become 6 years? I abandoned that garbage module and just made my own dungeons for 4 years.
Now to play anything but 5e for a whole--like #mothershiprpg, #drawsteel and #MausRitter.

I should share this Draw Steel encounter we ran last night with my playtest group!
