[Update] Unser #ExifWeg ist so #datensparsam, wie es für eine Webanwendung nur möglich ist – aber jede Datei, die du hochlädst, verlässt dein Gerät. Selbst bei bestem #Datenschutz bleibt ein Restrisiko (z. B. durch Server-Logs – wir verwenden keinerlei Logs! –, Netzwerk-Schnüffler oder Fehler).

I got this cool sticker from @eff! It seems relevant in our current environment. I'm gonna put it on my vehicle today.

Oh, and I also used a cool app called #scrambledexif I found on fdroid to remove the exif data from the image that my phone added.

Normalment recomanem #scrambledExif #obscuracam #signal o per ordinador, el totpoderós #gimp. Si esteu a la consola, #mat2 i #exiftool són tot el que necessiteu; però si per algun motiu esteu desprovistos de qualsevol eina, podeu venir fer servir 🎇 MATAMETADA 😆

És una eina web que ens hem copiat de @406 , que al seu torn es van copiar de l'autori original.

Permet esborrar cares, esborrar les metadades d'ubicació, model de mòbil/càmera, data, etc. i de pas fer-hi gargots a mà alçada.

Ho hem fet perquè podíem, i perquè ens agrada donar a parlar sobre aquests temes, però si teniu algo més pràctic a mà, ni ho dubteu 😉

Like other comments already figured out, take into account the #metadata of your pictures.
I use #ScrambledExif from #F-Droid on #android to share grafical content.
You simply share to the app icon and than directly to the app where you want to public.
It's simple, easy and fast.
Get used to it.

@zuuuzuuu te recomiendo #ScrambledExif. Es una app bastante guay, cuando vas a compartir una imagen "la compartes" primero con la app y te borra todos los metadatos antes de compartirlo donde quieras

Our handheld computers with cameras are very convenient for snapping a photo and sending it where we want to use it.

But in passing the photo through multiple stops, some of which we don't control, we invite surveillance and analysis of our photos.

#ScrambledExif can't entirely avoid that but I am #ThursdayThankful for its automated stripping of metadata (that I rarely need, and certainly don't want collected by "platforms" and other snoops) before saving the file.
