Da für mich die Vorteile eigener #Fediverse - Instanzen aber wichtig sind – zu wichtig, um sie nicht weiterzubetreiben, – ist einer von drei Servern nach wie vor online.
Auf meiner Suche nach Ersatz-Tools für Programme, die ich auf meinem #Palm #Treo 650 nutzte, bin ich mit dem, was ich da gefunden habe, nicht wirklich glücklich geworden, und so habe ich gestern #Firefly iii ( #Haushaltsbuch / #Finanzverwaltung ) installiert, und bin heute dabei, #Grocy neu zu installieren.
Zunächst habe ich alles für mich Überflüssige abgeschaltet, damit wirklich nur noch die Einkaufsliste übrig bleibt, und bin jetzt dabei (Achtung: Fleißarbeit), die einzelnen Artikel einzugeben.
Grocy nur wegen der #Einkaufsliste zu nutzen, ist ein wenig wie “mit Kanonen auf Spatzen zu schießen”, aber tatsächlich gibt es keine (zumindest habe ich nichts gefunden) Einkaufsliste, die Preise mit berücksichtigt.
Wenn ich damit dann fertig bin, kann ich den Palm Treo in die Schublade legen.

Ich habe mich diese Woche mal ein wenig in das Rabbit-Hole von #Grocy begeben. Insgesamt super cool und super mächtig. Das man aber erst alle Artikel scannen und anlegen muss empfand ich als abschreckend. Daher habe ich mal schnell eine Erweiterung für den Browser gebaut mit der man die wichtigsten Daten Lebensmittel direkt aus der Open Food Facts Datenbank in seine Grocy-Installation importieren kann.

- I tried to make the lines I added conditions to more readable by stretching it over multiple lines 🤔
- I could have tried to extend the existing popup, yes. I just poked around in the PHP trying to make it do what I wanted with what was there already 🙃

Gestern mal mit der #Grocy Demo im Webbrowser am Telefon rumgespielt.
Nicht so ganz die beste Erfahrung, tbh 🤨
Problem ist, dass am Smartphone auf der Weboberfläche viele Touch-Eingaben falsch interpretiert werden, was zu nicht gewolltem Verhalten führt.
Muss das mal am Rechner testen und mit der App 🧐
