@ottaross @mariellequinton Science Friday #SciFri is not an #NPR show. It is independently produced, and distributed by WNYC in New York. NPR dropped it maybe 25 years ago.

@mariellequinton An American equiv show I hear occasionally is #NPR's Science Friday (aka #SciFri ) which is in the process of a transition to the retirement-age Ira Flatow to a woman host (Flora Lichtman - I'm yet to remember her name without looking it up).

She seems to do well in the role. Probably better than Flatow who always sounds distracted when interviewing people.

Q&Q is the superior program though. Was glad to notice NPR carries it in some markets (eg. Northeastern US).
