Not a fan of #AnyDesk that much - I mean, I used their software and it works - but I've to give them credit where it is due:

• Combatting #Scammers that abuse their tool is a better approach than merely putting a banner warning up that scammers circumvent with #VPN|s or connection reversals.

Obviously this is first and foremost a #markting ploy; but if it destroys #ScamCallcenters then that's good.

• #Scammers are using stolen credentials [using #SocialEngineering or rather #SocialHacking] to #steal #Phones at the cost of #Telco customers and then #export them into markets that don't share #IMEI numbers or otherwise do clamp down on #stolen #merch.

Repeat after me: #PhoneNumbers are insecure and #2FA - #SMS are even less secure!!!
