When we were back east this past weekend we made a short journey up to the shores of Lake Ontario. In typical early March fashion, lake effect snow was moving into the area and Mother Nature was providing us with some impressive winds. The storm chaser in me loved the experience.

Quite the shift in our #weather conditions as the #storm system to our south will persist more west in the #GreatLakes region than first forecasted.

The #SouthShore #snowbelt will be hit hard through Wednesday night. Everyone else will be dealing with lingering #flurries and strong #winds.

NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR JANUARY 19, 2024:

Most of the #Northland will remain #cold and #dry with #temperatures below zero Thursday night, and in the single digits for #highs Friday. #Wind #chills could be as low as 30-below.

The exception will be the #SouthShore #snowbelt with #lake #effect #snow #showers continuing. Over 6-inches of new #snowfall is possible close to #LakeSuperior.
