🧵 5/n #Bluetooth passthrough works on #FydeOS.

I can use the #Voltcraft #SEM6000 #Android app.

🧵 4/n of course, you have to jump through a few hoops, to install #Fdroid on #FydeOS. Once, you have F-Droid running, the options are greatly expanded.

You can install the #Aurora app store, in order to gain access to non-FOSS apps (gPlay without login?).

I did that; that's how i'm running the #Voltcraft #SEM6000 Bluetooth smart plug app.

It's all a bit quirky, though. It seems to help, when you just close and re-start the app, sometimes multiple times.

I'm currently running all 3 Monitors.
I'm running #HomeAssistant for less than a week - i'm a total noob, but that's fine, because most stuff explains itself. And there's a plethora of YouTube #HowTo videos.

Eaton UPS = Desk + Rack.
My Fridge draws ~95W, 112W with the door open/light on.
4 #Tasmota plugs!

Still struggling to get data out of #Voltcraft #SEM6000 plugs, using https://github.com/magcode/sem6000-mqtt. bluetoothctl sees BT 5.4 USB dongle, but "scan on|le" misses my 2 plugs.

I'll try diff dongles.

My #BananaPi M2+ is bored. All it does is run #PiHole.

What else could it do?
Suggestions, anyone?

Here's one of my own ideas; get a buzzer and play the PFsense melody upon reboot.

Perhaps play with #Portainer?

Maybe poke a hole in my firewall, and export a secondary #Nextcloud instance - what for sharing files with the interwebs?

Perhaps someone reverse engineered the #SEM6000 Bluetooth protocol - could i use the wifi/bt hardware to #Grafana my smart sockets?
