I just finished #RogueProtocol, the 3rd book of #TheMurderbotDiaries!
This one was full of action stuff, really entertaining, but the chapters were so long that even though it didn't matter at all my brain was lazy and didn't want to finish it, but I pushed through and enjoyed it a lot.
Prompt 26 - a book where an adult character changes careers - June 3, 2025 - Okay, so I stretched this one a bit. Murderbot starts as transport security, poses as a security consultant, then switches back to a SecUnit in the third book of this series. As usual, I'm left wanting more.

Murderbot continues to be the most relatable, charming, action-packed and yet still somehow so emotionally poignant series of books about an exhausted ex-slave semi-cyborg who just wants to be left alone with it's TV shows but keeps getting dragged into situations where the only good choice is to set aside it's own comfort and put itself at risk to protect others... And if that doesn't have you interested in this series, I don't know what to say man... (^_^) #amReading #RogueProtocol
Recently spent some more quality time with Murderbot via Martha Wells' "Rogue Protocol." See my Goodreads review for details but I remain convinced that science fiction fans will enjoy the saga. That said, do start from the beginning with "All Systems Red."

5/5: Another fun romp with Murderbot. Much like "Artificial Condition," if you enjoyed "All Systems Red," you'll likely have a good time with this quick, snappy adventure in the universe those first two books established.
