I think I am the only person to ever use the open source RetroBoy camera app for Android (available on F-Droid) to photograph at falcon at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Am I absolutely certain? No, but I am close to certain.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you tried to take a picture of a falcon with a Game Boy Camera? (No? No one?) What you see here is a picture of a falcon taken with the FOSS Retroboy app (available on F-Droid) in Game Boy Camera mode with my Murena Teracube 2e phone. I upscaled the image with Upscayl (max res from Retroboy is 960 x 720) for publication on Pixelfed (images in my article are 800 x 600). I took more normal photos of the falcon too.
